The Colliers

We started taking our first baby girl, a Basset Hound named Pearl to Angel Animal Hospital in 2001. She was a great dog and when she got sick we were thankful Dr. Fisher figured out that she had Addison’s Disease and helped us take care of her until her last day with us on June 12, 2004….She may have only been with us for a few years but she will be with us forever in our hearts, she was the best little girl ever and we miss her a lot.

RIP….Pearl July 2000 - June 2004

Now, we take both of our little Papillion girls Casey (Sable/White) who will be 7 years old this July and Della (Black/White) who will be 6 years old this November to Dr. Fisher. She and the staff have taken care of Casey since October 2004 and Della since February 2006. The girls love going for the “Ride” in the car to the vet but usually ready to leave right after they get weighed, guess they think that is the only reason we went there in the first place, even though they usually get a treat (which they like) after their visit.

The girls are so much fun to watch and see the different personalities that they have. Just like kids they pick at each other and they know when the other one isn’t feeling so well. Once, when we had to take Casey in for surgery on her eye, Della had to stay home alone all day. When Chris got home that afternoon he said Della didn’t want to come out of her cage and when she did she went into Casey’s cage and lay in her bed. Then went to the window in our laundry room and got up on the bench window seat and watched out the window until I brought Casey home. Once Della knew Casey was home and OK she wanted to play although Casey didn’t want to for a little while, but she was back to normal in no time.
They may not be sisters from the same litter but they are true sisters!

Dr. Fisher and the staff at Angel Animal Hospital take good care of our babies and yes they are “our babies”. You can really tell they care about each and every patient that comes through the door. We know they are in good hands when they go for anything. After many appointments, we usually get a follow up call and sometimes, “just a call” to see how the girls are doing.
It’s nice to have, “The Other Family Doctor”, with friendly and caring staff so close.
Thanks Chris, Martha, Casey and Della
